What are Carbohydrates?
Carbohydrates are our bodies energy source and brain food. They are absolutely necessary in everyone's diet.
Carbohydrates come from plants. Grains such as wheat, barley, rye, spelt; or grains that make 'flour'. Rice, Kasha, Quinoua, Orzo, Risotto, Potatoes and all vegetables and fruits are carbohydrates.
Typical by-products would include breads, bagels, muffins, french fries, pasta, cereals, cookies, sugar, juice drinks, etc.
